A stunning 710 hp supercar that looks vintage but was built in 2021 is heading to auction
51 minutes ago

- Ruf launched the CTR Anniversary at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2017.
- Just 50 examples were built, and this car is number 25 and painted Riviera Blue.
- Powering the limited edition model is a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six with 710 hp.
Ruf’s Porsche 911-based models have always been synonymous with extraordinary power, but in more recent times, they’ve actually turned into remarkable collectibles. Earlier this year, an original Ruf CTR Yellowbird sold for $6.1 million, roughly 41 times its original value. As it turns out, it’s not just old Ruf models that are now going for limited-edition hypercar money.
One of 50, and Barely Driven
What you’re looking at may look like a relatively old 911, but it is actually a 2021 CTR Anniversary built to celebrate Ruf’s 30th year in business, originally unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. There are just 50 of these cars in existence, and this one could sell for between $2.8 million and $3.4 million. This represents a massive leap from the car’s original €892,000 ($1.018 million) starting price.

Set to be auctioned off by RM Sotheby’s during Monterey Car Week, this CTR Anniversary is number 25 of the 50 units built. It’s painted in one of Porsche’s finish Paint to Sample colors, Riviera Blue, and has been driven fewer than 200 miles.
Originally ordered by a Florida resident, the car features every single carbon fiber option available. It is also equipped with a front-axle lift system lightweight doors, carbon ceramic brakes, and Riviera Blue brake calipers. If a Singer 911 isn’t quite your style, then the CTR Anniversary may tick all of the right boxes.
A Cabin To Die For

The cabin looks sensational, rocking Kevlar-carbon seats trimmed in black buffalo leather upholstery with pepita inserts and Riviera Blue stitching. It also includes matching Riviera Blue seatbelts, a black Alcantara headliner, and titanium pedals.
Then there’s the engine. Whereas Singer opted for a naturally-aspirated flat-six for its flagship DLS, Ruf has fitted a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six with 710 hp and 649 lb-ft (890 Nm) of torque. This allows the car to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds while sprinting through to a top speed of 224 mph (360 km/h).
If you’ve got a few million lying around and a soft spot for carbon fiber and flat-six fury, this might be your unicorn. Check out the listing here before someone else adds it to their climate-controlled shrine.
