The facelifted XC90 gains a new bodykit, a louder exhaust and performance upgrades by Heico Sportiv

- German tuner Heico Sportiv has revealed a full tuning package for the latest Volvo XC90.
- The flagship SUV looks sportier with a bodykit, 22-inch wheels, and lowered suspension.
- Optional upgrades include a sport exhaust with flap control and increased power output.
For years, the Volvo XC90 has built its reputation on comfort and refinement rather than sharp, corner-carving performance. Now, German tuner Heico Sportiv, with its well-documented focus on the Swedish brand’s (and Polestar’s) models, has introduced a full upgrade package for the refreshed SUV. The goal is to give the XC90 enough presence and performance to stand alongside rivals from BMW M and Mercedes-AMG.
The 2025 model year update to the XC90 brings a subtly revised front end and Heico Sportiv builds on this with a nine-piece bumper extension and decorative trim. Finished in piano black, the accents give the intakes a more pronounced and angular look.

The profile features a new set of Volution sport alloy wheels with a five-spoke design measuring up to 22 inches in diameter. These can be optionally combined with wheel spacers and sport springs or new software for the adaptive air suspension that bring the SUV closer to the ground by up to 30 mm (1.2 inches).
Moving over at the back, there is a three-piece rear skirt that houses Audi-style quad tailpipes. These can be mated to a Heico Sportiv sports exhaust system with flap control that will make your Volvo louder. Since the XC90 didn’t change much in the recent facelift, the rear upgrades are backwards compatible with all models after 2016, while the exhaust can be fitted to both the B5 (diesel/gasoline) and T8 (PHEV) trims.

Inside, buyers can choose an optional hand-crafted sport steering wheel. It features a flat-bottom shape, pronounced grip areas, and a mix of leather and Alcantara materials.
More Power
In addition to visual changes and chassis tweaks, Heico Sportiv offers ECU recalibration to raise the XC90’s output to as much as 500 hp. For reference, the most powerful factory version, the T8 PHEV, delivers a combined 449 hp (335 kW / 455 PS). The company can also remove the 180 km/h (112 mph) top-speed limiter, allowing for higher speeds where legally permitted, such as on unrestricted Autobahn stretches.

If you just want the Heico Sportiv bodykit and the quad tailpipes for your Volvo X90 you’ll need to pay €4,411 ($5,100). However, if you add the custom exhaust system that makes it louder on demand, the full package will cost you €7,302 ($8,500). Of course, the price can further increase by installing the optional performance and suspension upgrades, the aftermarket alloy wheels, and potential interior bits.
According to the tuner, all of the Volvo XC90 goodies will be available from September 2025, and are compliant with the laws of Switzerland.
