This Loud-Mouthed Defender Doesn’t Care If It Gets Its White Leather Dirty

  • Artemis K2 Defender blends rugged off-road looks with luxury features.
  • Cabin has white-and-black leather with reupholstered trim details.
  • Supercharged 5.0-liter V8 produces 518 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque.

In a sea of aggressively modified off-roaders, a well-balanced custom build can still turn heads without going overboard. That’s where the Artemis K2 comes in, a striking yet thoughtfully upgraded take on the 2025 Land Rover Defender 110, heading to auction later this month. At a glance, it stands apart from the growing number of excessively styled Defenders, offering a more refined kind of flash.

At some Land Rover dealerships in the United States, it’s possible to order upgrades straight from Artemis, and this Defender has the full K2 kit, named after the world’s second-highest mountain. The package includes widened wheel arches, a redesigned black grille featuring a signature LED strip, new LED fog lights, and functional hood vents.

Up top, Artemis has added a low-profile sliding roof rack made from aluminum and magnesium, developed by Plumb. There’s also a folding side ladder, a tailgate and camping kit, and a set of four LED light bars mounted on the roof. But the standout feature might just be the 22-inch forged aluminum wheels, finished in high-gloss white, giving the SUV a crisp, distinctive look.

White-on-Black, Inside and Out

The white and black theme carries over into the cabin. Most of the interior remains unchanged, but Artemis has added carbon fiber accents to the steering wheel and rewrapped it in fresh leather. The rest of the cabin is finished in a mix of white and black leather, echoing the exterior design with a clean, cohesive look. Naturally, nothing says off-road grit like white leather that dares you to actually use it.

Artemis itself purchased this Defender 110 new from Hennessy Jaguar Land Rover Buckhead in Atlanta, and it currently has 2,300 miles (roughly 3,700 km) on the clock. This is no boring Defender either, as it includes the available 5.0-liter supercharged V8 pumping out 518 hp and 464 lb-ft (629 Nm) of torque.

This special Defender will be auctioned off during Monterey Car Week and is expected to sell for between $115,000 and $130,000. If you’re into leather-lined adventure with a side of horsepower, check out the listing here before someone else claims it for their driveway safari.
