• Ford is celebrating 60 years of Bronco with a retro-themed edition this October.
  • Offered with either a 2.3-liter turbo-four or an optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.

Next week marks 60 years since the debut of the Bronco, a milestone that Ford is celebrating with a special edition for the 2026 model year. Called the 60th Anniversary Package, this edition doesn’t build on the Bronco’s already capable off-road performance, but it does bring a set of nostalgic design details that should appeal to longtime fans and collectors alike.

All versions of the 60th Anniversary Bronco are built on the Outer Banks trim and can be equipped with either the standard 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder or the optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6. The popular Sasquatch package comes standard, bringing a revised final drive ratio, high-clearance suspension, front and rear electronic-locking differentials, and a set of 35-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires.

Retro Details to a Retro Design

One of the most noticeable throwback elements is a set of 17-inch Gravity Gray alloy wheels, each featuring a Vermilion Red center cap that echoes the hubcap design of the original 1966 Bronco. Ford has also added a special front grille to the model, complete with matching Vermilion Red lettering.

Shoppers can order the Bronco 60th in either Wimbledon White with a matching roof or Ruby Red with a contrasting Wimbledon White roof.

The package also includes standard running boards and a new rear tire cover featuring a red Bronco badge. A matte black Bronco badge has been added to the tailgate to set it apart from other models.

Several special touches have also been made to the cabin. Found on the seatbacks of embossed 60th Anniversary logos alongside Bronco Red accents on the instrument panel and grab handles. A small plaque is added to the center console, and there are model-specific grab handles on the A-pillars.

On Sale This Fall

There’s no word on how much the Bronco 60th Anniversary Package will set back customers, but Ford says sales will begin in October, so we should find out the model’s price soon.
