The QX80 lineup could soon include Terrain and Track Spec variants

- Infiniti will introduce three new concepts at Monterey Car Week.
- Two of them hint at possible new additions to the QX80 lineup.
- The third concept previews the upcoming QX65 crossover coupe.
Infiniti unveiled the QX80 Sport earlier today and two more variants could be on the horizon. They’ll be previewed by new concepts at Monterey Car Week.
Starting with the QX80 Terrain Spec, the model is an off-road focused SUV that features a prominent skid plate, extended fender flares, and what appears to be an increased ride height. We can also see a roof rack and an auxiliary light bar.

The company isn’t saying much about the concept at this point, but it could take some cues from the Nissan Armada Pro-4X. That particular model has an air suspension, all-terrain tires, an increased approach angle, and an electronic locking rear differential. If it goes into production, the SUV would presumably battle the $96,500 GMC Yukon AT4 Ultimate as well as the $114,500 Lexus LX 700h Overtrail.

QX80 Track Spec
If getting muddy is out of the question, the QX80 Track Spec might be more up your alley. It looks like a more extreme version of the Sport and features a unique front bumper.
This variant could mirror the Armada Nismo, which has an aggressive body kit, a sportier suspension, and a revised steering system. There’s also a revamped interior and a retuned exhaust with a “more evocative” noise.

More notably, the Nismo variant has an upgraded twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 460 hp (343 kW / 466 PS) and 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) of torque. That’s more than the QX80, which only has 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS).
QX65 Monograph

Last but not least, Infiniti will preview their upcoming crossover coupe with the QX65 Monograph concept. The latest teaser isn’t very revealing, but it shows an angular grille with an illuminated logo. They’re joined by familiar digital piano key lighting units.
Previous spy photos and teasers have revealed its sportier shape, which is headed for production. It’s effectively a two-row version of the QX60 and this means we can expect a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder producing 268 hp (200 kW / 272 PS) and 286 lb-ft (387 Nm) of torque. It should be connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired with front- or all-wheel drive.
